Dementia Care Franchise

Rainbow Dementia Day Care Clubs

Dementia day care franchise

Changing the way dementia care is delivered in the UK.

Established 4 years ago and franchising since Spring 2023 the Rainbow Care group is materially changing how dementia care is provided in the UK. This unique care business is exempt from CQC regulation, has no direct competition, is relatively quick and easy to set up and has a very high 6 figure revenue model. In only a few short years the business has won multiple awards at the Great British Care Awards and changed the lives on hundreds of people affected by the disease. Now Rainbow Care’s franchisees are changing the lives of those affected one region at a time and over 12 franchises have already been appointed.

How this dementia care franchise works

Each franchisee organises a day of activities and care from community venues like village halls and sports clubs. On the same day every week, or two days per week. The sort of venues that are typically empty during weekdays and available to rent. Rainbow uses the venues between 10am and 4pm and throughout each day delivers a very carefully planned day of activities, tailored around each person in the group in a fun and engaging way concentrating on the following key areas that affect dementia:

  • Reminiscence work
  • Cognitive activities
  • Physical Exercise
  • Social interaction
  • Games and most importantly FUN

Fun is at the forefront of everything we do, those who attend the groups often regain their confidence, we encourage positive risk taking and unlike any other groups we will attend to our club members needs whether those needs are for transport, medication or even personal care.

The big picture

The whole business is designed to allow people to live at home with their loved ones for longer and to slow progression of the disease. Those people who care for their loved ones get a day of respite and guilt free day care by default allowing a much needed personal “reset” for them too.

Funded and private places

Our business model qualifies for funded places for many of our clients who along with those who pay for private care make up each day care club of 12 people. because the majority of our club members are privately funded this means it is quicker to get each franchise area established.

Every franchisee received specific dementia training. Currently we are finding that this takes around 3 weeks in total and can be spread out over a longer period if necessary. Once a franchisees first group is launched then Rainbow HQ’s speciality trained staff support their franchisees in an ongoing basis.

The Franchise Fee is only £15,000 and in order to get each franchise launched each region needs a further £6,400 to cover the training, stoics and inventory and we are currently also spending around £6,000 in digital marketing as part of the launch of each franchise. This means the total investment is around £27,400 plus vat.

Every franchisee also gets an exclusive area.

Profit with Purpose

This is a rewarding business in more ways than one. As a community specialist the appreciation you receive form those affected by the disease is significant. However, at the end of the day out it is a business and one that can deliver a six figure net profit for each franchisee once established. A Rainbow Care franchise can reach breakeven in a few months minimising working capital compared with most care businesses.

Suitable as both an owner operated franchise or a management style business, please contact us and see how you can enjoy a fun business changing the lives of those who are affected by the disease.
